today is another school day..yeayea BORING is the word..and it actually slipped my mind tad nxt wed is my skills theory test! it's a one time thing..meaning if u fail theory tad's it u cant retake..n if u fail theory, u cant take de practical exam! man wad is this? alrites no worries..i will make it throuh this time as well..have some confident :)) haiss..i haven even fill up those blanks in my skills manual -_-"'oh Tian'en is also having exams in..was it NTU? i guess so..dun hav to worry much for him..he's good la..God will look after him..hahaa..ytd was talking to this new fren of mine..he asked mi a lot of qns tad i always hoped i wld not come across and make mi think abt de ans-es..for mi to ans all those qns u really have to be 'well-armoured'..having the wisdom to be able to ans..if not either u dunno how to reply n make a fool out of urslf, say the wrong things or mis-interpret de facts and mislead others, worst still your faith got shaken..ytd was not too bad actually..he kept mi thinking..he asked.....-'i guess you prefer someone of the same religion as you? most christians do'-'is God's word really that impt tad u haf to obey? i don't believe in god'-'no pre-marital sex?'-'do u drink?'-'you never know.. maybe you will like a life w/o god..'-'so how fulfiling one's life can be w god in it?'-'if one want to make his/her life fulfiling, he/she decides what they want to do, nth to do w god'-'why do you think tt it's god tt give you all these? this is what they wrote, but is it really the truth?'-'how do you know tt the bible is the truth?'-'miracles got nth to do w god'de best part was tad he claimed that he is not looking for any ans by asking so much..which simply means he just wana challenge my faith in God..but im sure he has no ill-intentions..-'i'm nt looking for any ans'-'you're right tt i don't understand christianity'-'but fact is i don't want to know either'-'maybe you have been brainwashed by those preaches? try listening to my preaches too' >>> this is kinda rude isnt it? but i've well tolerated it..i dunno why did i keep my anger..his qns are well asked..but it can be better if he knows God's word more in-depth..so when i try to ans him he can differentiate between the 2..sad thing is that he dun wana noe..probably just being playful..the Bible is like another history book..history is the record of past events and times..u can read it like another story book taken fm a shelf..but at de back of ur mind u sure noe that it's a record of events that has really happened before..so why pple can accept history of old S'pore, World Wars, dynasty of China, Nazi Germany history etc but not the Bible? all i can derive is that because not everyone has de chance to get in contact with the Bible..we are given choices..to read or not..to believe or not..the history we learnt once upon a time was..shld i say being forced to read, study and memorise..we study it..we get a lot of contact wid it..therefore even though u were not there to witness it with ur own eyes..u still believe it happened before..on the other hand, if u dont get in much contact wid the Bible, u dun study or analyse it..u dun understand it AT ALL..u are unclear and so u may not believe..it's also history, it's there, it's de truth, but pple just cant accept it..can u see wad im trying to explain? if u can qn mi abt the Bible, y dont u apply de same qns to de so called real history u studied b4 and believed in?yes the Bible is another history book, full of events (or u can call it stories)..and if u ask mi..the Bible can be just another story book! then i'd ans u..yes it is..it is the BEST-SELLING story book in the world if u ever really search abt it..and it isnt like other books selling in the bookstores..because the Bible is so called 'made up' of 66 books..each and every one of dem were carefully selected out in the Council of Nicaea..n POOFF..there comes the Holy Bible..ok ignore de 'POOFF..' it's not some lab experiment..not simple yea? find out de facts urslf..it can be very amazing..alrites..i got serious business to discuss wid brother John..oh n de council thingy..john contributed some info too..ty! oh yes and the songs..changed to Christmas songs!! feel the joy of real Christmas!!! haha..till then..adieu!Labels: dun be afraid to stand up for Christ
