today this scene kept flashing back..de sentence kept running through my brain..

".........i've always look good in you..but u've disappointed me today..go and do some refletions yourself......"

wah piang..aft i heard this coming from my CI..im like super sad luhh..my tears started to flow out man..but of cos i tarhan till aft she left..was damn sian..very sad..embarrassed..n disappointed in myslf..

she told me tad was because during a dressing procedure..i left out de surgical handwash..

but im more disappointed in my own overall performance during these few weeks..not just tad surgical handwash thingy today..also cos i overlooked de minor but basic things happening..actully is lazy n cant be bothered..resulting in neglecting and forgetting..hais..shld start afresh nxt week..will be assigned to another 2 rooms..gotta adapt again..no prob man..i can adapt within 2 days..haha!!

but actually after tad dressing procedure CI accessed me.. a SN(staff nurse) asked mi to do one more dressing on another patient..this time it was so much better..quite successful..went smoothly..got everything right..n i dint leave anything out..just unsure of de bandaging part and she gladly take over and teach n show mi..good nxt time i can do all on my own..and i will show CI my capabilities and not disappoint her again..

im damn tired..these 2 days dint get enuff slp..abt 4 hrs only..4.30am wake up..den slp in bus..b4 and after shift work..wad a tiring life..dun even haf time to get a new powder..was just complaining this to Carinna only..hais..

tml..HAIS!!!! CNY visitation and some farewell dinner la..if not aft de visitations i go town straight buy my powder plus shopping..sianded!!!! nxt week den la..AIYAH CANT!!!! i just remembered..nxt Sat i will be paying back de shift work i missed on Wed cos of bro..walao eh!! again..no time..den gotta prepare for exams le..aft attachment tad following 2 week is for exams le..sian..i nth to say le..see how la..SIAN!!!

now just hope bro can faster recover..hopefully his downPES is TEMPORARY..if permanent he cant be his RSAF pilot le..damn sad damn sad..hais!

oh btw he was already dscharged and resting at home..but he very kii-kee..meaning stubborn..he insists to go out on Sat and Sun..to church for YF n service..but mummy wants him to rest at least a few weeks until condition is more stable la..wa den quarrel..hais..just stay home la..very boring i noe..but if anything happens to u outside again how? de hand haven recover yet..one push or knock tads it la..sure gone case..everytime let pple worry..aiyohh..just finish op a few days wana go into big crowds..how to let mummy n us feel safe..a least one or two weeks la deyy!!

alrite i think i gotta find some food n go slp soon..im very tired! tml 10am nidda reach church..wa i tot can slp till at least noon lor..hais!!!!!!!!! ok good nite pple :)) hope u had a better week than me..

damn shag tired n sleepy right now..but still have to carry on if not i wont noe how long will i drag on..ok now for WEDNESDAY!! this is de headline!!

my beloved handsome + pretty korkor FRACTURED HIS LEFT RADIUS AND ULNA!!

erm ok for those who's starting to haf question marks on top of ur head..it's de lower part of ur.....AIYAH SMALL ARM LAH!! it's basically made up of 2 bones..radius and ulna..and he broke both! OUCH!!!

de most horrible thing was i actually saw his arm looked like wad i drew on de right!!! eewwwww!!!!!! it's so scary!!

wad happened was...........he was in Tekong serving his NS..@ 7.45 am he started de SOC (standard obstacle course) and at abt 8 plus this incident happened..he was supposed to get to de other side of this log thingy..and he lost his balance..slipped and fell..he tried to break de fall using his left arm cos he had his rifle on his right arm..his intention was to break de fall but instead it broke his arm off..tsktsk! but good thing was that de bone dint poke out his arm..eewww!! his nerves, arteries and veins are all intact..he can still move a little and feel..thank God..

korkor is really brave man..he can tolerate this pain..it's like..i cant describe..imagine u kena this fracture..both bones broke and he tolerated with this unbearable pain for more than 12 hrs!! of cos he had one anaesthetic jab to kill off de pain when in de medic at Tekong and a few hrs ltr de doc gave him one more jab cos de pain is getting more n more unbearable..but it doesnt block off de pain completely..so he just keep tolerating de pain..keep praying tad God will gif him strength to tarhan all these pain and be brave to overcome this..

to think back..it was ard 9 plus 10am when we received a call from SAF..called mum's fone..and she was kinda like out of control..cried and cried..tot wad happened sia! i am still washing up at tad time..suddenly was so clueless..tot bro got shot or something..rushed out and listen carefully..somehow caught some info and then aft she hung up we changed and rushed to CGH..damn bloody far!! far from home..far from SGH!! cos im having attachment at SGH now ma..mm it's at CGH cos it's near de coast i think..it's de nearest hospital..anw took a cab and got there..everything was damn draggy!! was then told tad CGH do things damn slow one..hmmm ok i believe aft this experience..

got there at 10 plus waited for admission then X-ray and for bed..finally at 3pm got a bed and got up de ward..but still cant do anything..waited for de doctor to come and see his condition..it's abt 5 plus? i forgot..discussed abt his condition and briefly abt de op..took his blood for examination and stuff..

at 7 plus de surgeon came and gave us de details..he said bro's injured site was swollen and cant start de op..cos aft de op cfm will get swollen..so if it swells now and still cont wid de op..surely aft op de hand will be damn super swollen till mayb cant even stitch back..a lot of complications..infections..may affect or injure de nearves or veins etc..and his temperature has started to go beyond de normal range..so de main impt thing was to bring down his temperature and get him to lie flat and lift his arm up to prevent too much bld flow to de injure site..to prevent it to swell even more..

abt 8 plus 9pm he came in again n accessed bro..tad time we were having our dinner..so dey called us up telling us tad his condition is stable and can be operated..so..really thank God..finally!! we've waited since early morning for this moment to come..

mummy was really very worried and sad abt wad happened..though i know very clearly that this is considered a minor operation and shldn't be so worried abt it..but when i see mum crying..i cant help myslf fm crying too..she was too worried..n felt de pain he was experiencing etc..tads y she cant help de tears from flowing out..haha bro told her: "mummy dun be like this..i wont be paralysed.." true but i tot of it..if im a mother and my beloved child was in tad painful state..though he can still bear wid it..but de painful expressions..when u see it ur heart breaks too..hais~

finally aft all de procedures are done up..all de signing and stuff..he went in de OT and we stayed outside..mum n dad waited till de op ended..it ended at abt 2.30-3am..mi n Hui went back home aft sending bro in..cos she got work nxt day n im working morning shift..we both took tad day off..cos IT'S BRO MAN!! n cant make it for work anw..ok if we want we can rush like kee-siao..but wad for? he is more impt..

really thank God tad he's now feeling much better aft de op..just now went over to visit him all de way from SGH@Outram to SGH@Simei.. wa piang damn far!! but wad to do? haha nvm la..maybe tml not going over..cos he's like totally fine la..haha! and im too tired..not very convenient for mi too..think maybe tml last day of stay at CGH ba..or latest Sat..cos he's really doing well..he can really smile w/o faking it..haha! thank God!! :> will see how it goes la! :))

when he just got CGH wid his Sergeant..waiting for admission..
here he's still ok wid de pain..can still smile and laugh a bit..

slowly de pain stat coming back..he said he's not faking it..

den shortly..he really cant find de energy to tok..and de pain was starting to get more n more unbearable..

here we got de bed n went up..his Sir came n visit..Mr Yang requested to take picts again..he tried to fake a smile..every movement he made..he haf to really tarhan de pain..cos it affects his injured arm..stand up or sit down..he haf to really slow-mo and try to bear wid it..

changed to hosp 'uniform'..he really cant take it le..dun want tok dun want move..even we touch his bed or just very gently on his head or shoulder oso cant..he will feel de pain..poor thing :<

erm aft tad de op part i nvr take le..heh..HERE!! TODAY!! see his smile?? he's back!! :)) PRAISE YE THE LORD!!

his arm..he said his wound was disgusting..de stitches n all..can see de flesh etc..hahaha!!

it wasn't tad easy for him to make this *twist ok! haha..

he made de effort..so here i am *twisting wid him..

:)) now just want him to recover asap..but de doc mentioned b4..at LEAST 3 mths..it can take up to 6 mths..but to fully recover..i think probably more than a year..cos nid rehab and all..it's like a new arm..u haf to train it all up again..de muscles there..Hui said in future she dun dare to bully bro ask him to carry NTUC bags..LOL!

his BMT considered wasted..he haf to start all over his BMT again wid another batch..tads not de saddest part..cos his dream to be a RSAF pilot is most likely to be..SHATTERED!!

i felt so sorry for him..de doc told him his arm like this..considered 'downPES'..im not too sure abt this..is downgrade to like PES C or D? or is downPES de lowest PES of all?? in anycase i guess he cant qualify to be a pilot anymore..such a pity..it's like out of 100 only ONE can get in!! he had de brain and all..he went through so much..walked this far to reach his goal..it's not too far away and this happened to him..alright maybe this is really God's will..so be it..hope we can all accept it..esp he himslf..i know he can :))

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Health officials say a Brazilian model whose feet and hands were amputated because of an infection has died.

Officials said in a statement early Saturday that 20-year-old Mariana Bridi's condition deteriorated overnight. She died at 2:30 a.m.

The Espirito Santo State Health Secretariat said in the statement she died from complications related to a generalized infection. It was caused by the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which is known to be resistant to multiple kinds of antibiotics.

Bridi had been in the hospital in the city of Serra in southeastern Brazil since Jan. 3. She fell ill in December and doctors originally diagnosed her with kidney stones, local media said.

Bridi was twice a finalist in the Brazilian stage of the Miss World pageant.

hi folks..today is Friday le! maybe Saturday..haha..anw today was a............i dunno how to describe today..

good thing was im working same shift with Ethel :> im so happy luhh! lemme tell ya..it's really an honor to know Ethel..cos everyone was like "u know Ethel ar?...how u get to know her one?..." etc..lol! i can see tad dey were all envious of me in such good terms wid Ethel..hahah!!

finally returned her stethoscope..wa that was like since i got into nursing..till now!! such a long time!! lol! tot can take some picts wid her today wid our uniforms..but she said she look so shag so postponed to nxt time wen we come out..most prob either CNY or b4 she leave for Sydney..hah! hmm..wana do a farewell card for her..gotta buy some more materials! :))

it was de fers time i see it wid my own eyes..my patient kicked de bucket in front of me..i can quite control myslf well..de tearing part of cos..as a healthcare profession u haf to be mentally strong and so called heartless..esp when encountering this kinda 'experience'..although this was my fers time encountering one IN FRONT of me..i think i did well..a little shld be fine as a fers-timer..tad J.X gave mi tissue when her whole head was like a big red tomato hah..she's trying to make it as if she's not de only one crying isit..ha..

it was really sad to see someone pass away in front of ur very own eyes..slowly he just fade away..and all u can see is a straight line..de heart beat..den when u inform de family members..u will see them so helpless and depressed..then all the sorrows and grieving..my heart ached again and felt like weeping..to hide all these unacceptable emotions i just looked away..avoiding is de only way left for me..

wanted to do last office (a procedure where we will clean up de body, tidy up, wear their own clothings and wrap it up wid a white cloth..we call it Kimono..) tads de last thing i can do for my patient..also i haven done it before as cases like this is hard to come by..but in de end i dint get to do it personally..i was in de middle of my dinner when i received a call from Ethel telling mi tad dey haf to start already..i just finish up quickly and rush over..hais..

WASHINGTON (AFP) - - A female Chinese graduate student was decapitated by a fellow student in a campus cafe at Virginia Tech, the scene of the worst school shooting in US history in 2007, police said.

At approximately 7:00 pm Wednesday (0000 GMT Thursday), Yang Xin, a 22-year-old graduate student from Beijing, was killed at an Au Bon Pain cafe on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, university officials said.

They added that emergency contact records suggest that Yang and the student who murdered her, Zhu Haiyang from Ningbo, China, knew each other. According to officials, witnesses said Zhu, 25, attacked Yang with a knife.

"There were seven witnesses in the cafe. There had been no argument, no shouting" when the young woman was attacked, said Virginia Tech spokesman Mark Owczarski, confirming that Yang had been decapitated.

The Collegiate Times, the university's newspaper, said police received a 911 emergency call minutes after the assault and the officer who arrived at the scene found Yang's head had been cut off. The murder weapon, a large kitchen knife, was found at the scene.

In a copy of a police affidavit published by the Collegiate Times, the officer said that when she arrived at the scene she found Zhu holding Yang's head in his hand.

"This is horrible and tragic. Especially when we know that Virginia Tech has got its share of hardship and horror," Owczarski said.

In April 2007, Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old Virginia Tech student born in South Korea, shot 32 fellow classmates and teachers to death before killing himself.

Zhu was charged with first-degree murder and was being held at a county jail. He had not had a record with university or local police, the school indicated.

Yang had arrived at Virginia Tech in early January to begin studies in accounting. Zhu was a PhD graduate student in agriculture and applied economics.

yoyo! how u guys doing? erm me..changed room le..fers day in middle room was on tue..why not monday? dont ask..cos of some kuku reasons..make mi piss only..good thing i can change room..BUT! middle room is not easy to handle too..u get wad i mean..mainly de staffs! alrite tads for de fers day..i managed to get some ice-breaking myslf n things went more smoothly..and today was my 2nd day..it was so so much better :>

and today someone got a reminder/negative feedback from CI..as usual >> rebuke..it's part of de scene we will sure get to see luhh..nth special..as de old saying goes..'gou gai bu liao chi shi' >> (direct translation) a dog will nvr change it's habbit eating shit! dun enjoy working wid her..cos i haf to be real real careful..i dunno when she'll stab mi at my back..she's damn sly..really..2 victims during diff postings..i dun wana be in de 'Victim's List' haha!

Cypress Tree (Faithfulness) -- strong, muscular, adaptable, takes what life has to give but doesn't necessarily like it, strives to be content, optimistic, wants to be financially independent, wants love and affection, hates loneliness, passionate lover which cannot be satisfied, faithful, quick-tempered at times, can be unruly and careless, loves to gain knowledge, needs to be needed.

Fig Tree (Sensibility) -- very strong minded, a bit self-willed, honest, loyal, independent, hates contradiction or arguments, hard worker when wants to be, loves life and friends, enjoys children and animals, sexually oriented, great sense of humor, has artistic talent and great intelligence.

hmmm others i dun haf much to say but except for one thing..'artistic talent'???......i kinda doubt tad..HAHA!

ah i've changed de paylist again..Zhang Guo Rong aka Leslie Cheung..acted in de show 'Phantom Lover'..i like tad show too..was it a movie before? dunno luhh..BUT! i'd still prefer 'The Phantom of the Opera' :)) it's REALLY REALLY NICE!! wa their voices oso damn pow-wer-der-mahh one..

alrite i gotta find something to do today..make it useful..dun haf much time to slack :<
