damn shag tired n sleepy right now..but still have to carry on if not i wont noe how long will i drag on..ok now for WEDNESDAY!! this is de headline!!
my beloved handsome + pretty korkor FRACTURED HIS LEFT RADIUS AND ULNA!!
erm ok for those who's starting to haf question marks on top of ur head..it's de lower part of ur.....AIYAH SMALL ARM LAH!! it's basically made up of 2 bones..radius and ulna..and he broke both! OUCH!!!
de most horrible thing was i actually saw his arm looked like wad i drew on de right!!! eewwwww!!!!!! it's so scary!!
wad happened was...........he was in Tekong serving his NS..@ 7.45 am he started de SOC (standard obstacle course) and at abt 8 plus this incident happened..he was supposed to get to de other side of this log thingy..and he lost his balance..slipped and fell..he tried to break de fall using his left arm cos he had his rifle on his right arm..his intention was to break de fall but instead it broke his arm off..tsktsk! but good thing was that de bone dint poke out his arm..eewww!! his nerves, arteries and veins are all intact..he can still move a little and feel..thank God..
korkor is really brave man..he can tolerate this pain..it's like..i cant describe..imagine u kena this fracture..both bones broke and he tolerated with this unbearable pain for more than 12 hrs!! of cos he had one anaesthetic jab to kill off de pain when in de medic at Tekong and a few hrs ltr de doc gave him one more jab cos de pain is getting more n more unbearable..but it doesnt block off de pain completely..so he just keep tolerating de pain..keep praying tad God will gif him strength to tarhan all these pain and be brave to overcome this..
to think back..it was ard 9 plus 10am when we received a call from SAF..called mum's fone..and she was kinda like out of control..cried and cried..tot wad happened sia! i am still washing up at tad time..suddenly was so clueless..tot bro got shot or something..rushed out and listen carefully..somehow caught some info and then aft she hung up we changed and rushed to CGH..damn bloody far!! far from home..far from SGH!! cos im having attachment at SGH now ma..mm it's at CGH cos it's near de coast i think..it's de nearest hospital..anw took a cab and got there..everything was damn draggy!! was then told tad CGH do things damn slow one..hmmm ok i believe aft this experience..
got there at 10 plus waited for admission then X-ray and for bed..finally at 3pm got a bed and got up de ward..but still cant do anything..waited for de doctor to come and see his condition..it's abt 5 plus? i forgot..discussed abt his condition and briefly abt de op..took his blood for examination and stuff..
at 7 plus de surgeon came and gave us de details..he said bro's injured site was swollen and cant start de op..cos aft de op cfm will get swollen..so if it swells now and still cont wid de op..surely aft op de hand will be damn super swollen till mayb cant even stitch back..a lot of complications..infections..may affect or injure de nearves or veins etc..and his temperature has started to go beyond de normal range..so de main impt thing was to bring down his temperature and get him to lie flat and lift his arm up to prevent too much bld flow to de injure site..to prevent it to swell even more..
abt 8 plus 9pm he came in again n accessed bro..tad time we were having our dinner..so dey called us up telling us tad his condition is stable and can be operated..so..really thank God..finally!! we've waited since early morning for this moment to come..
mummy was really very worried and sad abt wad happened..though i know very clearly that this is considered a minor operation and shldn't be so worried abt it..but when i see mum crying..i cant help myslf fm crying too..she was too worried..n felt de pain he was experiencing etc..tads y she cant help de tears from flowing out..haha bro told her: "mummy dun be like this..i wont be paralysed.." true but i tot of it..if im a mother and my beloved child was in tad painful state..though he can still bear wid it..but de painful expressions..when u see it ur heart breaks too..hais~
finally aft all de procedures are done up..all de signing and stuff..he went in de OT and we stayed outside..mum n dad waited till de op ended..it ended at abt 2.30-3am..mi n Hui went back home aft sending bro in..cos she got work nxt day n im working morning shift..we both took tad day off..cos IT'S BRO MAN!! n cant make it for work anw..ok if we want we can rush like kee-siao..but wad for? he is more impt..
really thank God tad he's now feeling much better aft de op..just now went over to visit him all de way from SGH@Outram to SGH@Simei.. wa piang damn far!! but wad to do? haha nvm la..maybe tml not going over..cos he's like totally fine la..haha! and im too tired..not very convenient for mi too..think maybe tml last day of stay at CGH ba..or latest Sat..cos he's really doing well..he can really smile w/o faking it..haha! thank God!! :> will see how it goes la! :))
when he just got CGH wid his Sergeant..waiting for admission..
here he's still ok wid de pain..can still smile and laugh a bit..

here we got de bed n went up..his Sir came n visit..Mr Yang requested to take picts again..he tried to fake a smile..every movement he made..he haf to really tarhan de pain..cos it affects his injured arm..stand up or sit down..he haf to really slow-mo and try to bear wid it..

changed to hosp 'uniform'..he really cant take it le..dun want tok dun want move..even we touch his bed or just very gently on his head or shoulder oso cant..he will feel de pain..poor thing :<

erm aft tad de op part i nvr take le..heh..HERE!! TODAY!! see his smile?? he's back!! :)) PRAISE YE THE LORD!!

:)) now just want him to recover asap..but de doc mentioned b4..at LEAST 3 mths..it can take up to 6 mths..but to fully recover..i think probably more than a year..cos nid rehab and all..it's like a new arm..u haf to train it all up again..de muscles there..Hui said in future she dun dare to bully bro ask him to carry NTUC bags..LOL!
his BMT considered wasted..he haf to start all over his BMT again wid another batch..tads not de saddest part..cos his dream to be a RSAF pilot is most likely to be..SHATTERED!!
i felt so sorry for him..de doc told him his arm like this..considered 'downPES'..im not too sure abt this..is downgrade to like PES C or D? or is downPES de lowest PES of all?? in anycase i guess he cant qualify to be a pilot anymore..such a pity..it's like out of 100 only ONE can get in!! he had de brain and all..he went through so much..walked this far to reach his goal..it's not too far away and this happened to him..alright maybe this is really God's will..so be it..hope we can all accept it..esp he himslf..i know he can :))
